Let us imagine, together if you will, a community in which every individual is always encouraged to overcome their fears and to push past the thoughts and ‘reasons’ as to why there is an impediment to them achieving anything.

The world is a much smaller place since 1998, I remember it was the year I first watched the ‘The Lion King’. As a boy, no older than six years old at the time, I remember quite vividly singing ‘I just can’t wait to be King’.

“We no go ‘gree” is a popular phrase in Nigerian pidgin; it translates to: “We will not agree”, or, “We do not accept”. Today of all days feels like an opportune day to chant around the world “We no go ‘gree.”

We recently heard about the criminal charges brought up against all the officers who were involved in the killing of George Floyd, it is great to feel some sort of justice has being served.

To those who do not understand, I shall explain. And to those who do understand, I shall speak up.
