Sometimes, the most profound gift we’re given in a lifetime is the gift of witnessing, i.e., of having our pain and joy witnessed and to witness another’s pain and joy in return.
There are many challenges that come with running a business, the greatest of which, in my experience, is the challenge of honesty - especially honesty with oneself about our abilities and limitations.
It’s World Book Day today and even though most of the world is still under strict pandemic regulations, working and schooling from home, I hope old readers and new readers alike get the chance to treat themselves to some downtime with a really good book.
As we begin this new year, we recognise that the start of a new decade has also given us many opportunities to slow down, to look inwards and to recognise the power of our time, our dreams and our individual agency.
