7 Women Who Inspire Positivity
It’s Women’s History Month! The days are getting longer, the air is getting warmer, the daffodils are blooming, and we’re starting to contemplate whether it’s time to get the sunglasses back out — spring has not yet sprung, but we can feel it’s on its way.
In celebration, we’re channelling this springtime anticipation and putting it to use. We’ve compiled a list of 7 amazing women who inspire positivity, to help you grow into this new season with awareness, confidence, and self-love.
Mikaela Loach
Mikaela Loach is a climate justice activist, sustainable living and ethical fashion blogger, and podcast host — all alongside completing her medical degree. Fighting for the future of the planet, Mikaela uses social media as a positive force, as well as camping outside parliament and suing the UK government for giving taxpayers’ money to oil and gas companies. Mikaela shares her educational, empowering, and uplifting message through her journey in both activism and self-love.
Megan Jayne Crabbe
Megan Jayne Crabbe is a bestselling author, digital creator and presenter. As an anorexia survivor turned body positivity blogger, Megan educates people on the topics of body positivity, eating disorder recovery, mental health and feminism, encouraging everyone to love themselves and their bodies. Her 2017 book, Body Positive Power, is a manifesto on all the reasons why we hate our bodies, and how to reject this hate in favour of love.

She’s a leading wellness professional and the epitome of the modern digital entrepreneur — especially as the Director of Innovation and Performance at the fitness app, Fiit.
Gina Martin
Gina Martin is a campaigner and speaker advocating for equal rights, as well as author of Be The Change, a practical toolkit for new activists. She wrote the book following her national campaign to make upskirting illegal, through which she successfully changed English and Welsh law by creating the Voyeurism Act. She spreads positivity on social media, recognising that we must balance the time spent fighting for change with joy and self-care.
Adriene Mishler
Our favourite, Adriene Mishler, has soothed our souls in even the darkest of times. She’s an international yoga teacher, actress, writer, and entrepreneur — but you probably know her from her YouTube channel, Yoga With Adriene. In her mission to provide accessible tools to support mental, emotional, and physical health, Adriene’s yoga and mindfulness practices are totally free of cost. Incorporating wisdom, love, and playful humour into her videos, Adriene breaks barriers amidst wellness culture and encourages all shapes and personalities to the mat.
Ali Wong
Laughing is a great way to stay positive and make the most out of any situation, which is why stand-up comedian Ali Wong is a top contender for inspiring lightheartedness. With three critically acclaimed comedy specials on Netflix, Wong also voiced the co-lead and executive produced the Netflix animation show, Tuca and Bertie.
Tabitha Brown
Actress and social media personality Tabitha Brown has become a vegan icon on TikTok with her fun and friendly cooking videos, but her most powerful strength comes from her encouragement of self-love in her followers. Described by HuffPost as “America’s Mom”, Tabitha’s content is a comforting and calming force in times of struggle and uncertainty.
