You Should Know About Love Supreme Jazz Festival 2026

More than a weekend away in the Sussex countryside, from July 3rd to 5th, 2026, at the rolling hills of Glynde Place, East Sussex, Love Supreme Jazz Festival curates a space which highlights global diverse voices and experiences that have shaped, and continue to shape the culture.

This year’s curation offers an intersection of heritage and the "New Generation". Leading the charge on Friday are Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective, who bring their Temple Of Joy to the main stage. Their presence is a testament to the power of collective innovation, serving as a reminder that British jazz is currently at its most exciting when it is unapologetically grounded in community roots.

The weekend continues with Loyle Carner, whose blend of lyricism and jazz-inflected production makes his first appearance at the festival a milestone event. To close the festivities on Sunday, legendary alternative hip-hop trio De La Soul will deliver their only full-band UK performance of the year. A rare opportunity to witness icons who bridged the gap between jazz samples and commercial rap success.

The 2026 roster is particularly strong in its representation of women pushing musical boundaries. From the technical brilliance of esperanza spalding and the multi-Grammy-winning vocals of Samara Joy to the legacies of Gabrielle and Sister Sledge, the festival ensures that the feminine perspective remains prominent at the heart of the jazz and R&B tradition.

We are especially watching the New Generation Jazz and One Jazz stages, highlighting the festival's commitment to nurturing the next generation of rising talent. These performers represent the future of our arts space; artists who are not just playing music, but defining new cultural identities.

Beyond the stages, the festival expands its holistic lifestyle offering. Between sets attendees can engage with wellness sessions, artist talks in the Jazz Lounge, or dine at the on-site Ottolenghi restaurant. For those seeking the late-night pulse of the scene, Anderson .Paak (appearing as DJ Pee .Wee) and labels like Tru Thoughts will keep the energy high long after the sun sets over the Sussex Downs.

As festival season approaches, we look forward to seeing how this blend of commercial appeal and purposeful representation translates into a live experience.
