Hopeful; Connected; Productive.
How are you being mindful of your health in this season?
We’ve been trying our best to go out for cycles and walks around London - it’s really made us appreciate the city a little more! Our work is dependent on working together so we’ve tried our best to stay as connected as possible, regardless of the distance.
How have you and your circle been impacted by COVID-19?
It’s more about finding a new means to reach out to each other. We’ve tried House Party, Zoom, Facetime… they’ve worked really well for us.
How has your work-education-life been affected so far?
We graduated from UCL last September so we have been taking our work dynamic, that we built during uni, to the next step. Since then, it has really pushed us to put our heads down and focus. We decided to take a short course in January to develop our skills within strategy and brand identity and took the leap to leave our jobs! We are lucky enough to be supported by our families to continue working on RAYA which has allowed us to invest ourselves wholly in our business. Despite the new rules that were enforced, we don’t feel too much of a difference since we’ve been productive at home beforehand.
When you’ve been outside, what’s your experience been like?
Freedom hits different haha.
What’s keeping you in a positive state of mind in this uncertain time?
Knowing that our work is spreading happiness and good vibes!
How are you channelling your creativity in this season?
Through RAYA, of course! We’ve started to look at different forms of illustration to find different ways of expressing our tone of voice. Since we have some time on our hands now, we’re able to experiment with weekly themes to see what resonates best with our audience.
What are you grateful for in this season?
Friends, family and alcoh- what? ;)
What world are you moving towards in this season?
A world of light and love, that’s vibing and thriving!
For people staying at home right now, any suggestions?
We’ll get through it now so that we can party in the summertime!!
