With all that’s currently being reported on in the United States, as extremist supporters of President Trump stormed the US Capitol last Wednesday afternoon, in such a fashion that has been described as an act of domestic terrorism.

The world is a much smaller place since 1998, I remember it was the year I first watched the ‘The Lion King’. As a boy, no older than six years old at the time, I remember quite vividly singing ‘I just can’t wait to be King’.

“We no go ‘gree” is a popular phrase in Nigerian pidgin; it translates to: “We will not agree”, or, “We do not accept”. Today of all days feels like an opportune day to chant around the world “We no go ‘gree.”

We recently heard about the criminal charges brought up against all the officers who were involved in the killing of George Floyd, it is great to feel some sort of justice has being served.
