Industry Spotlight: Kio Briggs
Patience and persistence are the ingredients to success. Nigerian-raised Artist and Entrepreneur, Kio Briggs, transitioned from the realm of finance to pursue his passion for creativity. His trajectory saw him freelancing as a Marketing Manager before establishing Gifted, by Nature in 2019. Since its inception, the company has been instrumental in providing innovative solutions in multimedia production, marketing communications, music and literary publishing, collaborating with industry giants such as Spotify Studios, the Roundhouse and Estée Lauder.
Beyond the boardroom, Briggs is an artist whose works have led him to be highlighted as BBC London's New Voices in 2019. As an author, his written endeavours delve into philosophy, personal and spiritual development, and the rich tapestry of the Black and African experience. With titles like 'Living Free' (2017) and 'Meditations on Freedom' (2020), Briggs continues to inspire and provoke thought through his literary contributions. As a model and actor Briggs has captivated audiences on stage, screen and in notable commercial campaigns for brands such as Braun, Mountain Dew and Johnny Walker.
With an upcoming collaboration with Speakers for Schools Briggs aims to empower young minds by sharing his experiences and insights, offering guidance in leveraging their creative talents for success and inspiring the next generation of creatives to pursue their aspirations with confidence and determination.
