8 Sustainable Designers Spotted in ‘Switch It Up’
Vicky Pasion’s highly anticipated music video for ‘Switch It Up’ is finally here, and it’s iconic.
In partnership with Lone Design Club, Pasion is switching up her style and sound in this playful exploration of sustainable fashion. This fun springtime release offers an opportunity to rethink our relationship to our clothes.
As a long-standing advocate of slow fashion, Pasion is keen to promote mindfulness over the old habits of overconsumption and fast fashion. She tells us, “if you are going to buy, support upcoming designers that upcycle so we’re not adding to the waste”.
Here are the 8 independent, sustainable designers featured in the music video:
1. Revival
Revival is a London-based fashion reconstruction brand specialising in the repurposing of textile waste. Prioritising slow fashion, they create limited edition contemporary pieces by reclaiming textiles that would otherwise be sent to landfills.
Founded by Rosette Ale in 2016 while she was at university studying modules on sustainability, waste, and technology, Revival was created to reduce fashion’s negative environmental impact. Revival aims to re-imagine the fashion industry by encouraging fashion fans to re-think the creative potential of unworn or unwanted clothes.

2. Revive
Teresa Carmona founded Revive “on the basis of creating an environment which highlights the social and environmental flaws of the existing fashion industry”. Using their core values of slow fashion, inclusivity, and supporting independent creatives, Revive strives for sustainability, diversity, and a circular supply chain.
As stated on their website, second-hand and vintage clothing is the most sustainable alternative to how we dress (after being naked). This is why Revive ethically sources unique pieces from local vintage fairs and vendors to put together beautifully curated collections.

Hadiyah Hussain is a fashion brand that focuses on inclusivity, aiming to create clothing for everyone, of every shape and size. All pieces are handmade in the UK, many using leftover fabrics. They intentionally keep all cut offs and scraps in order to recycle them into new pieces. Each printed collection is carefully researched and follows a unique story, and all prints are HADIYAH HUSSAIN originals.
